Siddhababa Temple is a religious site located in Brahmadev Bazaar (Tudikhel), at Bhimdatta Municipality Ward No. 9 in Kanchanpur district, Nepal. It is believed that the ancient Siddhanath deity was established even before the reign of King Brahmadev of the Katyuri dynasty. Alongside Siddhanath, idols of Baijanath deity, Purnagiri Mata, and Kalika Devi (Kalpathte) are also established here. To the north west of the Mahakali River is Purnagiri Mata, and to the east lies Trishuli Cave. In this Trishuli Cave, a Tapasvi named Siddhanath used to meditate. He wished to visit Purnagiri Mata during his old age so Siddhanath Baba set out from Trishuli Cave to see Purnagiri Mata. When he could no longer walk, he requested someone to help him reach Purnagiri Mata's shrine. A man who was traveling to sell ghee from the Doti region carried Siddhanath Baba in his back and began crossing the Mahakali River. At that moment, an spiritual voice from Purnagiri Mata was heard, saying:
"Baijanath Baba, do not worry. Any devotee who comes to visit me will also visit you on their way back."
Later, Siddhanath Baba was established about 300 meters south of the historical Brahmadev Mandi, known for its 52 gates, established by King Brahmadev. From this location, a stone was brought and placed in the current Bhimdatta Municipality area of Kanchanpur district. A part of Siddhanath Baba is also worshipped as Kartikeya (Mohanyal) deity, known as Siddha (Siddhanath) deity, in his divine throne. With the promotion and recognition of the area near Mahendranagar Bazaar significance of the site has grown. As a result, the number of devotees visiting Baba Siddhanath has significantly increased.
